PRESIDENT:I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:1 A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring the 2026 Senate2 Democratic Caucus interns for their service during the Second3 Regular Session of the One Hundred Twenty-Fourth Indiana4 General Assembly.5 Whereas, Members of the 2026 intern class include:6 Gabrielle Alford, Andrew Carles Hilger, Shailey Desai, Tina7 El-Amoor, Daniel Huber, Sanjana Kakanur, Oluwasola Lasaki,8 Jordan McAtee, Shaina Miller, Josephine Morrison, El'ad9 Nichols-Kaufman, Mike Obioma, and Neil Sahu;10 Whereas, The interns of the Senate Democratic Caucus11 represent eight different universities and colleges: Indiana12 University Indianapolis, Indiana University Bloomington,13 Butler University, Ball State University, Purdue University,14 DePauw University, St. John's College Annapolis, and The15 United States Military Academy;16 Whereas, The interns serve in all departments assisting the17 caucus senators, caucus attorney, and staff while18 demonstrating dedication, professionalism, and strong19 commitment to public service rooted in integrity and humility;2026 DR 3849/DI ol21 Whereas, They have shown true teamwork and adaptability2 which enabled senators of the Democratic Caucus to better3 represent and serve constituents in a prompt, significant,4 reliable, and respectful manner;5 Whereas, The interns' exemplary work ethics, hardwork,6 and diligence has contributed to the overall success of the7 Democratic Caucus and their curiosity and willingness to grow8 has reflected the true purpose of service; and9 Whereas, The work of the Democratic interns is inherent10 to the success of the Indiana General Assembly and the state of11 Indiana: Therefore,12Be it resolved by the Senate of the13General Assembly of the State of Indiana:14 SECTION 1.
