R. 6448 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES December 4, 2025 Ms. King-Hinds (for herself, Mr. Moylan , and Mrs. Radewagen ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure A BILLTo amend section 47109 of title 49, United States Code, to update the requirements to qualify for the special rule relating to project costs for airports in economically distressed communities, and for other purposes.1.Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Territories Airport Support Act of 2025 or the TASA Act of 2025 .2.United States Government’s share of project costsSection 47109(f) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking paragraph (1) and inserting the following:(1)is—(A)receiving essential air service for which compensation was provided to an air carrier under subchapter II of chapter 417; or(B)located in a territory of the United States and was an eligible point under section 419 of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958 on October 24, 1978; and.
