I 119th CONGRESS 1st Session H. R. 1066 IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES February 6, 2025 Mr. Flood (for himself, Mr. Finstad , Mr. Collins , Ms. Hageman , Ms. Maloy , and Mr. Perry ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce A BILL
To repeal section 138 of the Clean Air Act, relating to environmental and climate justice block grants.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the Ending Green Giveaways Act .
2.
Repeal and rescission relating to environmental and climate justice block grants
(a)
Repeal
Section 138 of the Clean Air Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7438 ) is repealed.
(b)
Rescission
The unobligated balance of any amounts made available under section 138 of the Clean Air Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7438 ) (as in effect on the day before the date of enactment of this Act) is rescinded.
