  Mr. KENNEDY of New York (for himself, Mrs. DINGELL, and Mr.
  LANGWORTHY) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
  Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, and in addition to the
  Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, for a period to be sub-
  sequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of
  such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
  A BILL
  To extend the authorization for the centers of excellence
  for stormwater control infrastructure technologies and
  related matters, and for other purposes.
1Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
  2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3   SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
4This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Stormwater Treatment
  5 Optimization, Resilience, and Management With Academic
ssavage on LAPJG3WLY3PROD with BILLS
  6 Technological Expertise and Research Act’’ or the
  7 ‘‘STORMWATER Act’’.

1   SEC. 2. STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGY.
2(a) CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE FOR STORMWATER
  3 CONTROL INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGIES.—Section
  4 50217(b) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act
  5 (33 U.S.C. 1302f(b)) is amended—
6(1) in paragraph (1)(A), by striking ‘‘not less
7than 3, and not more than 5, centers’’ and inserting
8‘‘5 centers’’;
9(2) in paragraph (4), by striking ‘‘fiscal years
102022 through 2026’’ and inserting ‘‘fiscal years
112027 through 2031’’;
12(3) by redesignating paragraph (4) as para-
13graph (5); and
14(4) by inserting after paragraph (3) the fol-
15lowing:
16‘‘(4) GREAT LAKES CENTER.—Of the centers
17established under paragraph (1)(A), 1 shall be lo-
18cated in, and focused on, the Great Lakes region.’’.
19(b) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—Section
  20 50217(e)(1) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs
  21 Act (33 U.S.C. 1302f(e)(1)) is amended by striking ‘‘fiscal
  22 years 2022 through 2026’’ and inserting ‘‘fiscal years
  23 2027 through 2031’’.
