INCLUSION OF CERTAIN PRIOR ACTIVE DUTY AS A REGULAR MEMBEROF AN ARMED FORCE FOR REDUCED ELIGIBILITY AGE FORRETIREMENT AS A MEMBER OF THE RESERVE COMPONENTS.(a) In General.--Section 12731(f)(2) of title 10, United StatesCode, is amended--(1) in subparagraph (A), by striking ``as a member of theReady Reserve''; and(2) in subparagraph (B), by adding at the end the followingnew clause:``(v) Service on active duty described in this subparagraph is alsoservice on active duty as a regular member.''.(b) Retroactive Applicability.--The amendments made by subsection(a) shall apply to qualifying service on active duty performed afterJanuary 28, 2008.<all>
