To expand the Gun Free School Zones Act, and for other purposes.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the   Protect Every Preschooler Act of 2026  .
2.
Expansion of the Gun Free School Zones Act
Section 921(a)(27) of title 18, United States Code, is amended—
(1)
by striking  means a school which  and inserting the following:
means—
(A)
a school which
 ;
(2)
by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and
(3)
by adding at the end the following:
(B)
an early childhood education program (as defined in section 103 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1003 )); and
(C)
a preschool (which has the meaning given the term  eligible preschool program  in section 428K(g) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1078–11(g) )).
