  Mr. Patronis  (for himself,  Mr. Clyde ,  Mr. Wied , and  Mr. Cloud ) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the  Committee on the Judiciary
 A BILL
To repeal the Hughes Amendment to the Firearm Owners’ Protection Act.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the   Firearm Freedom Act of 2026  .
2.
Repeal of ban on possession or transfer of machineguns
Section 922 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking subsection (o).
