hjr7014/draft.txt<BillNo> <Sponsor>HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 7014By CarringerA RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate the Knox Central HighSchool baseball team upon winning the 2025District 3, Class AAAA tournamentchampionship.WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should salute thosestudent athletes who, through their extraordinary efforts, have distinguished themselves as truechampions of whom we can all be proud; andWHEREAS, proving themselves to be the fiercest of competitors and, as such,deserving of the highest regard, the Knoxville Central High School baseball team recentlycaptured the 2026 District 3, Class AAAA tournament championship; andWHEREAS, the members of the Knox Central High School baseball team epitomize allthat is good in today's student athletes, as they have achieved a premier level of success incompetition while exhibiting the highest degree of character in all aspects of life; andWHEREAS, the perseverance, determination, work ethic, and talent of these young mennot only made possible a championship season but also surely bode well for their success inevery future endeavor; andWHEREAS, the members of this General Assembly find it appropriate to acknowledgeand applaud the members of the Knox Central High School baseball team for their outstandingperformance and for serving as examples of the exceptional quality of the youth of Tennessee;now, therefore,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDFOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATECONCURRING, that we honor and congratulate the Knox Central High School baseball teamHJR7014019108-1-upon winning the 2026 District 3, Class AAAA tournament championship and extend to each ofthese gifted athletes our best wishes for every continued success in all future endeavors.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be preparedfor presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made tothe appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appearwithout House or Senate designation.-2- 019108
