                              HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 7001

                              A RESOLUTION to congratulate the Ravenwood High School
                                           boys' junior varsity soccer team, TSSAA Division
                                           1, Class AAA, District 10 junior varsity
                                           tournament champion.
       WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the members of this General Assembly honor those
Tennessee students who, through their athletic prowess, have achieved the pinnacle of success
and serve as exceptional ambassadors of this State; and
       WHEREAS, such estimable individuals are the members of the Ravenwood High School
boys' soccer team, Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division I, Class
AAA, District 10 junior varsity tournament champions; and
       WHEREAS, successful seasons are achieved only through hard work, dedication, and
the ability to work together as a team and excel with a cooperative spirit; the young men of
Ravenwood High School exhibited each of these rare qualities during this past year; and
       WHEREAS, the members of this championship team are Noah Curry, Preston Troester,
Sam Lenning, Nick Nava, Asher Eskew, Otis Jensen, Santi Ferreira, Vetri Jegan, Kyle Kose,
Chuck O'Neal Lecou, Ryan Lee, Jameson Troester, Michael Zyu, Jasem Alhandari, Jonathan
Daniel, Jackson Gamble, Noah Venturin, Nicky Guse, Nate Barfoot, Landon Williams, Asher
Green, Milan Pavil, Brian Huang, Andrew Newman, Jackson Dombrowski, and Cooper
Matwejic; and
       WHEREAS, the team has enjoyed the expertise and guidance of Head Coach Scott
Ryan and Assistant Coaches Mike Reed and Les Gluszynski; and
       WHEREAS, this noteworthy achievement is a tremendous source of pride for the
players' families, their school, and their community; and

       WHEREAS, we find it appropriate to acknowledge and applaud the members of the
boys' junior varsity soccer team of Ravenwood High School for serving as exemplars of the high
quality of the youth of Tennessee; now, therefore,
       BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
CONCURRING, that we congratulate the Ravenwood High School boys' junior varsity soccer
team, TSSAA Division 1, Class AAA, District 10 junior varsity tournament champion, extending
our best wishes for every continued success.
       BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
without House or Senate designation.
