To prohibit marriages between individuals who are closely related by blood.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the   Consanguineous Marriage Prohibition Act of 2026  .
2.
Federal prohibition on consanguineous marriage
Section 7 of title 1, United States Code, is amended by striking  2 individuals  and inserting  2 individuals who are not related by affinity or consanguinity within the degree of first cousin  each place it appears.
