SECOND SESSION
LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 465
Introduced by Murman, 38.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to propose an interim study
relating to school policies on student surveys and the involvement of parents,
guardians, and educational decisionmakers. The study shall include the
implementation and effects of Laws 2025, LB428, relating to the administration
of mental health surveys to students and the right of parents, guardians, and
educational decisionmakers to remove children from such surveys.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE ONE HUNDRED NINTH
LEGISLATURE OF NEBRASKA, SECOND SESSION:
1. That the Education Committee of the Legislature shall be designated to
conduct an interim study to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
2. That the committee shall upon the conclusion of its study make a report
of its findings, together with its recommendations, to the Legislative Council
or Legislature.
