                                                   AN ACT
 To amend chapter 324, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to administrative rules
           for prescription authority of certain health care professionals.
 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
1Section A. Chapter 324, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto
2  one new section, to be known as section 324.049, to read as
3  follows:
1324.049.  1. The board of registration for the healing
2  arts, the Missouri dental board, the board of nursing, and
3  the board of pharmacy shall not grant any regulatory
4  mitigation or waive or modify any rules related to
5  dispensing, prescribing, including prescription renewals,
6  administering, or otherwise distributing medications or
7  controlled substances to a person or business developing,
8  creating, or generating artificial intelligence for the use
9  of dispensing, prescribing, including prescription renewals,
10  administering, or otherwise distributing medications or
11  controlled substances.
122.     As used in this section, the term "artificial
13  intelligence" means an artificial intelligence technology
14  system that:
15(1)      Is trained on data;
16(2)      Is designed to simulate human conversation with a
17  consumer through text, audio, or visual communication; and

18(3)   Generates nonscripted outputs similar to outputs
19 created by a human, with limited or no human oversight.
