To amend the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act to extend burial benefits for certain veterans who die at home while in receipt of hospice care furnished by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the Gerald’s Law Reauthorization Act of 2026 .

Extension of burial benefits for certain veterans who die at home while in receipt of hospice care furnished by Department of Veterans Affairs
Section 301(c)(2) of the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act ( 38 U.S.C. 2303 note) is amended by striking 2026 and inserting 2030 .
