To prohibit the provision of Federal funds to States and units of local government that prohibit their residents from owning dogs, and for other purposes.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the   Protecting Puppies from Sharia Act  .
2.
No Federal funds for States and local governments that implement haram
(a)
In general
No Federal funds may be made available to any State or local government that prohibits residents of the jurisdiction from owning dogs.
(b)
Sense of Congress
It is the sense of Congress that—
(1)
Sharia law is a foreign concept that is against the pursuit of happiness; and
(2)
it is a right of all Americans to own a dog.
