1    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring Sergeant
2 Terry Frye.
3   Whereas, Sergeant Terry Frye passed away at the age of 23
4 on Friday, November 14, 2025, in a car crash on Interstate 65
5 in Boone County;
6  Whereas, Sergeant Frye was born September 19, 2002, in
7 Frankfort, Indiana, to Jonathan Frye and Susan Stocker;
8   Whereas, Sergeant Frye graduated from Frankfort Senior
9 High School in 2021, and he had been serving in the United
10 States National Guard since March 2020;
11   Whereas, During his five years of service, Sergeant Frye
12 earned the National Defense Service Medal and Army Service
13 Ribbon;
14   Whereas, Sergeant Frye is survived by his parents, his sisters,
15 Lily and Ivy, his fiancée, Leann Smith, and his son, Cassius
16 Sylas Frye; and
17   Whereas, Sergeant Frye strongly believed his duty was to
18 serve his country, community, friends, and family, and he joined
19 the Indiana National Guard to protect his country at home:
20 Therefore,
21Be it resolved by the House of Representatives
22of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana,
23the Senate concurring:

1   SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly honors
2 Sergeant Terry Frye.
3   SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
4 Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to State
5 Representative Mitch Gore for distribution.
