 K-12 school facilities major maintenance.

                                      A BILL
                                        for
1 AN     ACT    relating  to   K-12      school     facilities     major
2 maintenance; appropriating funds for major maintenance for
3 the remainder of the current biennium ending June 30, 2026;
4 appropriating funds for major maintenance for the fiscal
5 biennium commencing July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2028;
6 and providing for an effective date.

8 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

10Section 1.

12(a)   There     is    appropriated      two    hundred    thirty-seven
13 million      eight     hundred      sixty-five       thousand    one   hundred
14 twenty-three  dollars     ($237,865,123.00)       from    the   public
15 school foundation program account to the state construction
16 department      for     major       maintenance       payments    to    school

1 districts     in      accordance        with     W.S.     21-15-109.  This
2 appropriation shall be subject to the following:

4(i)     One million one hundred twenty-two thousand
5 four     hundred    dollars    ($1,122,400.00)  shall    be   for     the
6 period    beginning on       the   effective      date   of this act  and
7 ending June 30, 2028;
8
9(ii)    Two     hundred      thirty-six       million  seven
10 hundred     forty-two       thousand     seven       hundred     twenty-three
11 dollars ($236,742,723.00) shall be for the period beginning
12 July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2028;
13
14(iii)    This       appropriation  shall        not      be
15 transferred    or     expended     for    any    other    purpose      and   any
16 unexpended,  unobligated     funds        remaining        from       this
17 appropriation       after    distribution       to   school      districts     in
18 accordance with W.S. 21-15-109 shall revert to the public
19 school foundation program account on June 30, 2028.

1Section    2.   This   act    is   effective     immediately   upon
2 completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
3 as     provided   by   Article      4,    Section   8   of   the   Wyoming
4 Constitution.
