AN ACT INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE SPECIAL
EDUCATION AND EXPANSION DEVELOPMENT GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That section 10-76ggg of the general statutes be amended to increase
2 the appropriation of the special education and expansion development
3 grant by one hundred ninety-one million dollars for the fiscal year
4 ending June 30, 2027.
Statement of Purpose:
To support students with special education needs and protect school
districts from volatility in special education expenditures.
