 AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY ACTION
 AGENCIES.
 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
 Assembly convened:
1        That the sum of thirty million dollars be appropriated to the
2      Department of Social Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year
3      ending June 30, 2027, for grants to community action agencies.
       Statement of Purpose:
       To provide critical funding to local community action agencies and
       protect the people the agencies serve.
