AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR MAINTENANCE OF
HELICOPTERS USED IN SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
1 That the sum of three hundred thousand dollars be appropriated to
2 the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, from the
3 General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, for the New
4 Milford Police Department to maintain helicopters used for search and
5 rescue operations throughout the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide critical funding for helicopter search and rescue.
