SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
    Appropriates $10,000,000 from the Lead Poisoning Screening, Prevention, and Abatement Fund and $90,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Environmental Protection Agency for grants to municipalities to replace lead service lines. Effective July 1, 2026.

1		    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2		    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3		represented in the General Assembly:
4		    Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much of that sum
5		as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Lead Poisoning
6		Screening, Prevention, and Abatement Fund to the Environmental
7		Protection Agency for grants to municipalities to replace lead
8		service lines.
9		    Section 10. The sum of $90,000,000, or so much of that sum
10		as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
11		Fund to the Environmental Protection Agency for grants to
12		municipalities to replace lead service lines.
13		    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
14		2026.
