Anna MoellerSYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:Appropriates $40,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to provide on-going housing assistance for persons needing affordable housing in order to transition into less restrictive community housing from a long-term care facility regulated under Title 77, 59, or 89 of the Illinois Administrative Code. Effective July 1, 2026.LRB104 17888 KTG 31324 bHB4827 LRB104 17888 KTG 31324 b1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,3 represented in the General Assembly:4 Section 5. The sum of $40,000,000, or so much of that5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General6 Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to provide7 on-going housing assistance for persons needing affordable8 housing in order to transition into less restrictive community9 housing from a long-term care facility regulated under Title10 77, 59, or 89 of the Illinois Administrative Code.11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,12 2026.
