NO.2892THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE, 2026S.D. 1STATE OF HAWAIIH.D. 1C.D. 1A BILL FOR AN ACTRELATING TO FERAL CHICKENS.BE ITENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:���� SECTION1.� There is appropriated out of thegeneral revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $50,000 or so much thereofas may be necessary for fiscal year 2026-2027 for the city and county ofHonolulu to facilitate the receipt, handling, and humane disposition of feralchickens that have already been caught.���� The sumappropriated shall be expended by the city and county of Honolulu for thepurposes of this Act.���� SECTION 2.� This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2026.Report Title:FeralChickens; AppropriationDescription:Appropriatesfunds to the City and County of Honolulu to facilitate the receipt,handling, and humane disposition offeral chickens that have already been caught.�(CD1)The summary descriptionof legislation appearing on this page is for informational purposes only and isnot legislation or evidence of legislative intent.
