To require the installation of security cameras at facilities of the United States Postal Service, and for other purposes.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the Postal Facilities Security Camera Act .
2.
Postal facilities security cameras
(a)
In general
Subject to the availability of appropriations, the United States Postal Service shall install security cameras at each facility of the United States Postal Service to ensure, to the extent practicable, the security of the employees, customers, and property of the Postal Service at each such facility.
(b)
Authorization of appropriations
There are authorized to be appropriated from the general fund of the Treasury, to be deposited into the Postal Service Fund established under section 2003 of title 39, United States Code, such sums as are necessary to carry out this Act.
