Official Code) is amended—(1)by striking thirty days and inserting 180 days each place it appears; and(2)in subsection (c), by striking thirty-day and inserting 180-day .(b)Applicability to previously declared emergencyThis Act, and the amendments made by this Act, shall apply with respect to an emergency declared by the President under section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (sec. 1–207.40, D.C. Official Code) before the date of the enactment of this Act.
