To amend the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 to reauthorize the Healthy Food Financing Initiative, and for other purposes.
1.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the   Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025  .
2.
Reauthorization of Healthy Food Financing Initiative
Section 243(d) of the Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994 ( 7 U.S.C. 6953(d) ) is amended to read as follows:
(d)
Mandatory funding
Of the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary shall use to carry out this section—
(1)
$25,000,000 for fiscal year 2026
(2)
$30,000,000 for fiscal year 2027;
(3)
$35,000,000 for fiscal year 2028;
(4)
$40,000,000 for fiscal year 2029; and
(5)
$50,000,000 for fiscal year 2030 and each fiscal year thereafter.

Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025

This bill reauthorizes and provides specified funds for the Department of Agriculture's Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI) through FY2030 and for each fiscal year thereafter.

As background, HFFI provides loans, grants, and technical assistance resources to eligible healthy food retailers and food supply chain enterprises to improve and support access to fresh, healthy, and affordable food in urban and rural underserved communities.
