Section 366.055, Health and Safety Code, isamended by adding Subsection (g) to read as follows:(g) If the commission, an authorized agent, or a persondesignated under Section 366.014 identifies an abandoned ordeteriorated water well during an inspection, the commission,authorized agent, or designated person shall report the location ofthe water well to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
