1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for public infrastructure
1.3improvements in the city of Trimont; authorizing the sale and issuance of state
1.4bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6Section 1. TRIMONT; PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS.
1.7Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $16,213,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.8fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Trimont to predesign, design,
1.9construct, reconstruct, and equip improvements and betterments of a capital nature to drinking
1.10water, wastewater, and sanitary sewer infrastructure in the city of Trimont, including
1.11wastewater ponding, replacement and rehabilitation of sanitary sewer and water mains, a
1.12new water tower, rehabilitation of the water treatment plant, and other improvements
1.13necessary to replace the existing mechanical wastewater plant.
1.14Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond
1.15proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of
1.16the state in an amount up to $16,213,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
1.17prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
1.18Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.
