hb2264/introduced.txtSession of 2025HOUSE BILL No. 2264By Representative Curtis2-41 AN ACT concerning employment; restoring local government control over2 wages, compensation and benefits for construction projects; amending3 K.S.A. 12-16,132 and 19-26,114 and repealing the existing sections.45 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:6 Section 1. K.S.A. 12-16,132 is hereby amended to read as follows:7 12-16,132. The administration, enactment or enforcement of any city8 ordinance which that conflicts with K.S.A. 12-16,130 or 12-16,131, and9 amendments thereto, is hereby declared to be void and against the public10 policy of this state.11 Sec. 2. K.S.A. 19-26,114 is hereby amended to read as follows: 19-12 26,114. The administration, enactment or enforcement of any county13 resolution which that conflicts with K.S.A. 12-16,130 or 12-16,131, and14 amendments thereto, is hereby declared to be void and against the public15 policy of this state.16 Sec. 3. K.S.A. 12-16,132 and 19-26,114 are hereby repealed.17 Sec. 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its18 publication in the statute book.
